All virtual desktop devices are turned on, but in the NEXI Board main screen the thumbnails keep appearing and/or disappearing. How do I fix it?
Solution
This is mostly a network issue. Please check all network devices in the ICT room – the router, switch, and cabling. You might need to restart the router or switch. Make sure all network cables are correctly connected. It is also necessary to check if all devices are in the same subnet and that there is not too many other devices in this subnet beside the NEXINEO system.

The NEO virtual desktop device is unable to log in, but the credentials are all correct. What shall I do?
Solution
Disconnect all cables from the NEO virtual desktop device, plug them back in and turn the unit on. If the login screen appears and you still can’t log in, contact NEXINEO IT Support and describe your findings.

Windows Server doesn’t seem to be connected to the internet. How to proceed?
Solution
There might be a conflict between the IP address configured in your internet proxy filter and your server’s actual IP address. To resolve this, first open the NEXINEO Configuration Manager (NexineoMCSetup3.exe), which is typically found in the NEXI Board installation directory at C:/Program Files/Nexineo/NEXIBOARD. Check the IP settings in the proxy filter. Then, open the Command Prompt and enter the command ipconfig to display the server's current IP address. Ensure that the IP address in the proxy filter settings matches the IP address shown in the command line output. Both values must be identical to prevent conflicts.

Having issues with the taskbar freezing on Windows Server 2022?
Solution
To resolve the issue, first navigate to the registry path HKLM\SYSTEM\Software\Microsoft\TIP\TestResults\27641370. Delete the specified key and then disable the TabletInputService service (also known as Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Panel Service). Next, you will need to take ownership of the files C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\ink\TabTip32.exe and C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\ink\TabTip.exe. To take ownership on Windows Server 2022, right-click the file, select 'Properties', go to the 'Security' tab, click on 'Advanced', and then click the 'Change' link next to the owner. From there, enter your user account, click 'Check Names' to verify, and then click 'OK'. After taking ownership, rename these executables to TabTip32.exe.orig and TabTip.exe.orig respectively. Finally, reboot your server to complete the process.

Once the system has been joined to the domain, some calls or actions seem to be slowed down or don’t seem to work at all. How shall we proceed?
Solution
NEXINEO systems have been tested extensively within traditional local domains under controlled lab conditions. However, we do not guarantee functionality within cloud or hybrid domain environments. If you encounter issues when integrating the NEXINEO system into your domain, we recommend contacting your local domain administrator for assistance. This approach ensures that domain-specific configurations and potential discrepancies are effectively managed by your designated IT professional.

Some graphics applications that demand very high power don’t seem to work correctly on the NEXI GO system. What can be the cause?
Solution
Currently, we offer two system options: NEXI GO, which is designed for standard office applications, and NEXI GO Performance, which is optimized for more demanding applications including Autodesk AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor, TinkerCAD or Geogebra. If your needs involve these higher-end applications, you might consider upgrading to the NEXI GO Performance system. Some applications, designed mostly for video editing or detailed rendering processes, are not suitable for use on the NEXINEO systems.

What should I do if the system has no internet/network connection?
Solution
Even if all NEO devices, NEXI GO server, and Ethernet components appear to be correctly connected, you may still experience issues with internet or network connectivity. One common issue is that antivirus software, such as ESET Endpoint Security, can block connections to the NEXI GO server. To address this, you should set the firewall to learning mode within the antivirus settings. Additionally, ensure that the NEXI GO server and NEO devices are on the same subnet, with default IP addresses beginning with 192.168.X.Y. It is crucial that the 'X' values match to maintain connectivity within the network.
