The entire NEXINEO system is PLUG&PLAY-ready

A standard LAN can be used to connect the NEO virtual desktop devices and the NEXI GO server, with the switch and router included with NEXINEO. The switch is used to network the NEXI GO server and the NEO devices, the router is used to separate the NEXINEO system from the school network. NEXINEO supports connection to Windows domains and you can diagnose the domain before installation using the NEXI Domain Tester tool. After physical installation of the NEXI GO classroom, which is very simple, the NEXINEO system is ready to use. Windows Server 2022 OS supported.

NEXI GO ICT CLASSROOM PRODUCTS

NEO virtual desktop device

The NEO devices are networked to the NEXI GO server that supplies power, stores data and runs applications. The NEO devices have an average power consumption of 5 W, their weight is 300 g, and they have an average service life of up to 10 years. The NEO devices do not generate noise nor heat and ensure a healthier classroom environment.

The NEO devices simply connect to the back of the monitor using the included VESA attachment.
The NEO devices have USB inputs for connecting peripherals, a microHDMI input for connecting a monitor, an audio input for headphones, and a LAN connection.
The NEO devices are operated using a standard USB keyboard and mouse. For computer classrooms, we recommend using wired keyboards and mice, as wireless keyboards and mice can interfere with each other if there are too many of these devices.
After the purchase of NEO devices, the customer must purchase and activate Windows licences for each NEO device. The exact type of licences required is listed in the NEO device data sheet.

NEXI GO server

The NEXI GO server delivers power, stores data, and runs applications for the NEO devices. The NEXI GO server comes pre-installed with the Windows Server 2022 trial version and a pre-installed NEXI Board management console. Any technician with a basic knowledge of Windows OS can easily install the teaching applications.

NEXI GO servers use high-quality components and therefore feature long service life and high reliability. Each NEXI GO server undergoes a thorough stress test before being shipped to the customer.
After purchasing the NEXI GO server, the customer must purchase and activate Windows Server 2022 licences. The exact licence type is specified in the datasheet of each NEXI GO server. NEXINEO has many years of experience in designing and specifying NEXI GO servers for NEXINEO virtualized computer classrooms, which are currently used by hundreds of schools in Europe.

NEXI Board management console

Thanks to the NEXI Board management console, the teacher gets full control over the entire class and the teaching process becomes significantly more efficient. The NEXI Board management console is available in English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, Czech and Slovak. We are continuously adding other language versions.

Switch

The switch is used to network the NEXI GO server and the NEO devices. A network cable from the NEXI GO server and from each NEO device is fed into the switch.

Router

A router is used to connect the entire NEXINEO system to the school network, to isolate its own subnet and while feeding the Internet connection into the system.

Accessories

Also included is a power supply for each NEO device and an HDMI-microHDMI cable for connecting the NEO device to an HDMI monitor.
